Sometimes the forums on Blizzard Community are not helpful.
The Mini map on your Graphic Interface is the round compass is usually located on the top right hand of your screen. You can locate the Mini map anywhere you choose.
I usually use the Zone Map since the Curse Addon Coordinates work with it. Ever since I upgraded to Battle For Azeroth expansion, Blizzard has disabled all capabilities. I can't find anything anymore. Their target locator is still not the best navigation tool in-game.
I had to search through the key bindings page just to re-enable my Zone map which Blizzard removes every time I switch to a new computer. It's in my profile! It hasn't changed since Vanilla WoW.
You can find the Toggle Minimap and Toggle Zone Map from your Key Bindings > Interface Panel page.
Anyway, that's my out of character rant for the day.
